A note before the legal language. We teach financial clarity in plain English, and we’ve tried to write these terms the same way — clearly enough that you can actually read them. That said, this is still a legal agreement. Please read it. By using our website, downloading our free resources, or buying anything from us, you’re agreeing to what’s below.
Who you’re agreeing with
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Numbers With Purpose (“Numbers with Purpose,” “NWP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), founded by Liz Parker. They govern your use of numberswithpurpose.us and any related pages, the free Financial Clarity Scorecard, our paid products and services, our emails, and any other content we publish (together, the “Services”).
If you don’t agree with these Terms, please don’t use the Services.
What we are — and what we are not
Numbers with Purpose is a financial education and bookkeeping brand for business owners. We teach owners to read and understand their own numbers, and we offer related products and services.
We are not an accounting firm, a CPA practice, a tax preparer, a law firm, a registered investment adviser, or a financial planner. Nothing we provide is accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice.
The Financial Clarity Scorecard is a self-assessment tool for educational purposes only. Your score is a starting point for reflection — not a professional evaluation of your business.
For advice about your specific situation, please consult a qualified professional who is licensed to advise you.
No guarantee of results
We promise the work. We don’t promise a specific outcome.
Your results depend on many things we don’t control — your records, your business, your market, and the effort you put in. We make no guarantee of any particular financial result, savings, profit, revenue, or improvement from using the Scorecard, our content, or any paid product or service. Examples, numbers, and stories we share (including anonymized client outcomes) illustrate what’s possible — they are not a prediction or a promise of what you’ll achieve.
Who can use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Services or make a purchase. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any information you give us is accurate and current.
Our products and pricing
We currently offer:
- The Financial Clarity Scorecard — a free self-assessment tool and diagnostic.
- Found Money — The Franchise Financial Checkup — a paid digital kit, currently $297.
- The Financial Clarity Intensive — a paid program, currently $3,997, or 2 payments of $2,097.
- Bookkeeping and related services, where offered.
Prices, contents, and availability are current as of the last update above and may change at any time. The price that applies to your purchase is the price shown at checkout when you buy. If you’re on a payment plan, you agree to pay each scheduled installment on time, and you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for each one.
We may add, change, or retire products at any time. Changes won’t affect a purchase you’ve already completed.
Payment
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider.. By purchasing, you agree to that provider’s terms, and you confirm you’re authorized to use the payment method you provide. You’re responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase unless we state otherwise.
Refunds
We stand behind our work, and our refund terms are specific to each product:
- Found Money — The Franchise Financial Checkup: 30-day refund. If the kit doesn’t find you anything useful within 30 days of purchase, email us and we’ll refund you in full — no lengthy justification required.
- The Financial Clarity Intensive: If your first weekly review doesn’t produce a real, named, useful insight, you may request a full refund before the program continues, as described on the offer page at the time of purchase.
Refund terms in effect at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within the applicable window. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Access to digital products
When you buy a digital product, we give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use it for your own business. Unless we say otherwise, you get lifetime access to the materials you purchased, with updates pushed as we make them. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the product, not a guarantee that any product will exist forever.
You may not share, resell, sublicense, republish, or distribute our paid materials, or give your access to anyone else.
Our intellectual property
Everything on the Services — the Scorecard, our written content, frameworks, workbooks, templates, videos, graphics, the Numbers with Purpose name and logo, and our signature methods (including The Operator’s Lens, The Prime Cost Unlock, The Financial Visibility System, and Found Money — The Franchise Financial Checkup) — is the property of Numbers with Purpose and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use what you buy or download for your own business. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from our materials without our written permission. You may share publicly available free content (like a public post) in its original form with attribution, but you may not strip our branding or claim it as your own.
Your content and submissions
If you send us information through the Scorecard, a form, an email, or a booked call, you keep ownership of what you submit. You give us permission to use that information to deliver the Services, respond to you, and improve what we offer, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you share a testimonial, review, or result with us, you give us permission to use it (in anonymized form where appropriate) in our marketing, unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
Acceptable use
When you use the Services, you agree not to:
- Use them for anything unlawful, or in a way that violates these Terms;
- Copy, scrape, or harvest our content or other users’ information;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or
- Use our materials to build a competing product or service.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these rules.
Testimonials
Testimonials and client stories on the Services reflect the experiences of specific people. They are individual results and are not a promise that you’ll have the same experience. Where we share numbers, we anonymize identities. Testimonials are not professional advice.
Third-party links and tools
The Services may link to or rely on third-party websites and tools (for example, a scheduling tool, a payment processor, or an email platform). We don’t control those third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their terms and policies, not ours.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is complete or current.
You’re responsible for your own business decisions. Reading our content or using our tools doesn’t replace the judgment of a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Numbers with Purpose, Liz Parker, and anyone working with us will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of the Services — even if we’ve been told such damages are possible.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product or service the claim relates to in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Numbers with Purpose, Liz Parker, and our team from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. If a change is significant, we’ll do our best to give you reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
Miscellaneous
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any offer-specific terms you agreed to at checkout, are the entire agreement between us.
